Never use rough cloths
In the TBC world, delicacy is not optional: it is part of the method.
When working on transparent, shiny, or particularly exposed surfaces, using a rough cloth is a mistake to avoid.
At first glance it may seem like a harmless gesture.
Actually, an overly aggressive material can leave micro-scratches, dull surfaces, alter the gloss, and compromise the visual appearance of the model.
A transparent window, a shiny dome, a windshield, or a small display case must not only be clean: they must remain intact.
If the cloth is unsuitable, the risk is not only that of moving the dust, but of permanently scratching the piece.
A true TBC operator always chooses soft, controlled, and surface-appropriate tools.
Intervene gently, without pressing too hard, without rubbing aggressively, and without improvising.
Proper cleaning leaves no traces.
It doesn't scratch.
It does not fog.
Do not ruin what it is meant to protect.
